Summarization on Paleolithic Archaeology in Zhejiang   (6)
Abstract】Starting from 2002, We researched and investigated on Paleolithic sites. During this period, Zhejiang Institute also investigated two Paleolithic sites. This efforts also proves that ancient people lived in Zhejiang, somewhere from later period of Early – Pleistocene to Late Pleistocene. The stone tool combination belongs to the mainstream of Southern Stone Industry, but with its own characteristics. From the analysis of Paleolithic sites, the research of Old Stone Age should be promising.

Discussion on the Times of Painting on the Rocks in Prehistory at Jiangjunya   (11)
Abstract】Concaved pits on the rock, stone canopies with paintings, prehistoric pictorical paintings were found in Jiangjunya, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. Through microerosion analysis dating, the concaved rock painting belongs to 11,000 years ago; the canopies belong to 6000 years ago, the sea level was at the highest, so it’s possible that the painting and canopy sculpturing should be at the rock on the seaside. This is consistent with the distribution of all the megalith architects above sea level.

Abstract】Liangwangchen, Pizhou City, is a site rich in culture accumulations and culture connotations. Through the excavations in 2006 and 2007, many significant findings were unearthed. The finding of Potter – making workshops provides new material for the research of Dawenkou Culture; Graveyards in Western Zhou Dynasty with hours and cattle pits is the first of its kind at that time; large – scale rammed platform reveals the core of Liangwangchen layout.

Abstract】After two investigation and excavation on Daxi ancient city, Wenling, it is clear that it was the city of Dongou state in Western Han Dynasty. From its location and times, the possibility of its belonged to “Xu Yan Wang Chen” can be excluded. The determination of this city means a lot to the research of Dongou State. It also provides important archaeological material to the research of Dongou Culture and the location of its capital city.

On Donggong during Two Jin Dynasties   (39)
Abstract】The basic frame of Donggong is a set of officer system. Its core is the successor to the throne. The staff of the successor is selected from the excellent persons. Choosing outstanding persons as friends, disposing army, paying attention to the education, and economic ensuring are the important aspect to reinforcing the status of successor. In Two Jin dynasty, the junior brother can become the successor to the throne, but the reason is different. Establish the Donggong is order to reinforce the status of successor, but it’s contradicted to the thought because of the decaying imperial power. It also reflects the changing of political circumstance.

Interpretation Ni —— Chenji on Bamboo Slips Found in Warring Period    (47)
Abstract】What is studied in my thesis is mainly about the system of sacrifices of Chu during Warring States period in the bamboo silk of Chu that have already excavated. We find that there is a character of “Ni” in the bamboo, and it concerns the sinking that is a method of sacrifices of Zhou. The discovery proves that some recordation of Chinese orient books that register sacrifices is authentic, and we can solve many problems through it.

Analysis on the Clan Power Effect over Nuo Opera during Ming and Qing Dynasties   (56)
Abstract】During the Ming – Qing Dynasties, the Nuo Play in Guichi was in vogue. Its unit was “She”. The Nuo Play was undertaken by the Nuo God Society which was under the “She”. In fact, it was held by the patriarchal clan. The patriarchal clan offered the social environment for the development of the Nuo Play, it also organized and protected it. And the patriarchal clan made the Nuo Play be handed down from ancient times, at the same time, it limited and fettered the development of the Nuo Play and made it remain in the primitive form. In a word, all the things to protect the Nuo Play should be done around the patriarchal clan.

Taipin Heavenly Kingdom and Early Haishang Painting School   (62)
Abstract】The Shanghai Picture Faction rose at the end of Qing dynasty and became the beginning of Chinese modern art. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom revolution connected the opportunity of prosperity of Shanghai Picture Faction, having a deep influence both in geography and culture psychology. The war affected the early painters’ lives and art in Shanghai. The folk factor in Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was also absorbed and converted to the aesthetic taste of Shanghai Picture Faction. As a result, the foundation and development of Shanghai Picture Faction is likely to be affected by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement.

Research into Artistic Image of City Sight in the Southern Bank of Yangtze River   (69)
Abstract】Sight along riverbank has taken more and more important place in the city planning, especially in the construction of water environment along southern bank of Yangtze River. This paper analyze the imago, artistic view along riverbank, color and culture imago, it suggests that sight along riverbank should handle plaque, doorway and color flexibly, and make out a overall plan for the better construction of the sights, in order to obtain the goal of sustainable development.

Probe into the Beds and Relevant Customs Between Pre – Qin Period and Two Han Dynasties   (74)
Abstract】According to Chinese historical materials bed was the special piece of furniture for sleeping between Shang and West Zhou dynasties. Bed was also used as little bed for sitting or half – sleeping in later times. Since Tang and Song dynasties, various implements made like beds but not for sitting or sleeping had also been called beds. Excavated beds in archeology also reflected this process. Accordingly, during that process of using beds, a unique cultural and a ritual system were shaped.

Interpretation of Artistic Images of Stone Sculpture —— Bixie during Six Southern   (78)
Abstract】Bixie, the stone sculptures during Six Southern Dynasties, is the carrier of culture and art from that time. The lion – shaped head, yawning mouth, out – extending tongue, wings inscribed on two sides are the basic elements of Bixie. Through tracing these elements’ origin, the author think that Bixie is the result of Sino – west culture exchange and traditional burial custom.

The Development and Comparative Study of Anti – efflorescence Reinforcing Material in the use of Soil Sites   (91)
Abstract】The Preparation of TEOS prepolymer was discussed. TEPS prepolymer and several other kinds of materials was tested as anti – weathering consolidation for earthen archaeological sites. The properties of treated and untreated clay samples were characterized, including the change of weight, color, porosity, permeability velocity, venting quality, PH value and compressive strength after salt efflorescence test, freezing – thawing cycle test and wetting – drying test. The result showed that TEOS prepolymer was more suitable for consolidating earthen archaeological sites than traditional consolidations.
