Abstract】From the analysis of the locations and altitude occupied by ancient people along Changjiang River at Three-Gorge Area and especially from the fill-up after flood found at site and contents found in it, we can get a rough timeline and water level by which can be used to provide scientific evidence for taming and developing Changjiang River.

On Graveyard of Nobles in Eastern Zhou Dynasty at Wu State Terrority     (14)
Abstract】The consecutive findings of Wu, Chu and Yue noblemen’s tombs at Wu State terrority has gained great interest in the academia. As regards to the tombs’ exact time and their origin is still a great mystery. After research both on material findings and literacy, the paper concludes that Zhenshan Tomb belongs to a nobleman of Wu State, Tomb of Hongshan Noble falls into middle Warring States period instead in the early stage of it.

Auspicial Lacquer Plate Unearthed in Western Han Tomb at Yizheng, Jiangsu     (19)
Abstract】Liujilianying Yizheng is an important Early Han cemetery. It can concluded that its was an burial site for the middle and high – ranking officials of Jiangdu and Guangling Manors. That auspicial lacquer plate found at Tomb No.10 was the first of its kind and had great importance for the study of ancient astrology, Yin Yang and Fengshui.

Brief Report on Han Tombs at Mt.Xihushan, Anhui     (23)
Abstract】Three tombs with stone coffin belong to Western Han Dynasty were found in Mt. Xihushan Kiln site, along with which a large amount of painted pottery were unearthed as well. Among the three tombs, Han stone relief was discovered in tomb No.3 making it the first case ever found in the Northern part of Anhui Province. The excavation unveiled the mask of tomb with stone coffin in this area while provided important research material.

Excavation Report on Zhuran Clan Tombs at Ma’anshan, Anhui     (34)
Abstract】The clan tomb of Zhuran family belonged to Eastern Wu Period was another important tomb to be found in Ma’anshan and the first one with stone door placed inside Fengmen Wall in this area. There were a set of precious Celadon funerary and practical objects, one of which was a beautifully-sculpted celadon sheep. The owner of tomb, after comparing with other ones and consulting literature, obviously was Zhu Ji, the son of Zhuaran. Its discovery has great significance for further study.

Application of Immunology on Technology Archaeology     (41)
Abstract】Through the application of immunological techniques, blood from different animals can be identified to the taxonomic level of family even species. The identification of blood residues on ancient artifacts can be helpful in the study of stone tool use, faunal analysis and dietary Analysis. In this review, we introduced the basic theory and method of the application of immunology in archaeology, summarized the work done by foreign researchers, and discussed some related problems.

Abstract】Waiting-for Appointment System has a long evolvement in ancient China. It has two important characters during Wei, Jin, South and North Dynasty comparing to that in Qin and Han Dynasties: firstly, those waiting for appointment are officials in fact, and it has a profound significance on their official career; Secondly, most of them are scholars, and their activities are inclined to technicality, and have important cultural significance. Relique and Succession of Military Dance from Ba People—On the Origin of Roulianxiang Dance in the West of Hubei Province     (67)
Abstract】Roulianxiang is in close relation with Buddhist. This folk-dance of Tujia Minority bears the reliques of Ba martial-Dance, absorbs the rhythms of DalianXiang, and receives the postures of Nishendao and the tunes of Lianhualuo, embodying the features with the multi-source and inheritation and having very high value for cultural research. Therefore, it certainly becomes the importantly protected project of intangible cultural-legacy in the south minority area of China.

Comparative Study of Chinese Temple Fair and Western Carnival     (73)
Abstract】The traditional Temple Fair was gradually evolved from old-time sacrifice ceremony of ancestral temple for thousand of years. It was wildly spread in ancient China, a true living folk custom, and was called “Chinese people’s own Carnival”. But it sank deep as the modern China changed. This paper’s research on both Chinese Temple Fair and Western Carnival shed some light on the survive and direction for Temple Fair.

Recognition on Stone Shrine and Stone Relif Found in Huaibei      (80)
Abstract】Through analyzing the shapes, contents and sculptures of four Han Dynasty stone relieves, the title considers that they are relief stone sculpture of Eastern Han Dynasty used for rituals. According to their shapes and measures, we change them back into house style building with one room and a flat roof. They fill the gap of Han Dynasty stone relief used for rituals of Huai Bei City, and provide a basis for learning similar Han Dynasty stone relief. And it is consistent with Xin Lixiang’s view of Han Dynasty stone relief used for rituals.

Study on Murals from Han Tombs at Xi’an Polytechnic University     (84)
Abstract】From the study of costume style and color and hairstyles painted on the wall of Xi’an Polytechnic University, the hat which represented a person’s social status was not often wore in ordinary life. Instead, a piece of cloth, even simply wore hair up was quiet regular. Gown, jacket made up for the upper coat and blue, red, pale gray were primary. Large pants went with upper coat, white seemed common. There can be seen no difference between sex. Men’s hairstyle were quiet simple, round or flat hair buns, while high buns were popular among women, some hairpins with pendants into it.

Abstract】The heritage project achieved great development in the recent ten years. However, problems became apparent as well one of the reason was the mis-judgement. In order to avoid the lost caused by misjudgement, a sound and scientific decision-making mechanism should be setup soon to enforce the ideal of “Protection First, Recycling Use Forever”.
