Symposium for Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Excavation at Yinxu, Anyang China.
Yinxu Anyang, the capital city of the Shang dynasty in Chinese history, and a newly inscribed world heritage site, is expecting its 80th anniversary of the first archaeological excavation. The archaeology history at Yinxu also witnesses the developmental history of the Chinese archaeology. For celebrating first archaeological exploration at Yinxu 80 years ago and understanding the significance of archaeological work in Anyang in the past years, we are delighted to invite you to attend this symposium.

Symposium days: Oct. 30 and Oct. 31
Events: A. Forum on the archaeological researches; B. Forum on the heritage management; C. Tour to the Yinxu Museum, archaeological sites under excavating, and possibly the dance and performance imitating the daily life of the Shang people contributed by the local community.
You are very welcome to offer a paper to any of the two forums. Any topics related to the Shang archaeology and heritage management are suitable. We accept papers and paper abstracts any time before September 15.
