From:Xinhua  Writer:  Date:2012-03-23

Chinese archaeologists have found a 40,000-year-old settlement site dating back to Stone Age.

The discovery of Laonainaimiao Ruins was made at a scenic spot in southwestern suburb of Zhengzhou, the capital of central China’s Henan province, People’s Daily reported Wednesday.

The excavation has unearthed an area of 50 square meters with tens of thousands of cultural relics including stone artifacts, bone wares, animal bones and over 20 fire relics.
