From:Xinhua News  Writer:  Date:2010-05-21

Construction of the Nihewan Museum, China's only museum for paleolithic relics, has been completed in Zhangjiakou City, north China's Hebei Province, and its opening is slated for the beginning of October.

The museum covering a floor space of 3.3 hectares is expected to showcase 50,000 relics unearthed from the Nihewan Ruins, where archaeologists have excavated large quantities of fossils of ancient people and animals, and varied stone tools of more than one million years ago.
