Ancient building protection projects carry on in Chamdo

The maintenance survey and design work for 6 ancient constructions such as Sutra Printing House, Lhadrang Palace, Banbar Monastery, and Wala Monastery has completed by Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics and Archaeology Institute, according to TAR Cultural Affairs Agency.



Meanwhile, other related protection programs to save historic buildings are carrying on and have been listed on the key protection project of Tibet Autonomous Region in 2010.

Chamdo located in eastern Tibet, with a total population of 620,000 people is the area with most ancient buildings.
