Chinese Archaeology is the official non-profit English website of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IA CASS). Established in 1950, the IA CASS is the only national institute of archaeological field work and research in China and have been playing a crucial role in the development of Chinese archaeology. The website aims to provide the latest news of archaeological discoveries and researches in China. We cordially welcome more volunteers to help us on the numerous materials waiting to be translated from Chinese to English.
